Sugar Pine Trailhead Lodge, 2 Cabins, 2 Hot Tubs

We had 2 families with 5 and 6 adults. We each had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living and kitchen areas, laundry facilities and hot tub Very rustic, needs some repair, but comfortable. 20 min to South gate an7070min to Yosemite Village.

We had a wonderful visit in late December. The house is very clean and well equipped. The teenagers loved the pool table and foosball room, and we all loved the cozy living rooms and kitchen/dining areas with plenty of space for cooking, playing games, and just relaxing. The trail behind the house along the river was a great walk, and of course we took advantage of Yosemite’s proximity to spend a couple days in the park. The only change I suggest is for owners to replace the pillows (most flat or quite hard), replace the queen mattress in downstairs bedroom, and add a knife sharpener. The layout of the joined homes is unusual with multiple half stairways, but not a problem unless you have mobility issues. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend, especially for multi-generation groups :)

Outstanding property. Perfect for the 50th birthday celebrations of our sons.

We stayed here with two other families. 18 total people. There was plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out. We really enjoyed the hot tub at night after a long day in Yosemite. The pool table and arcade were always being used. There is a river nearby so be prepared for mosquitos. We really enjoyed our stay!
